Pictures from the Romance of Alexander

I scanned the following pictures from a facsimile printing that I got by ILL. The majority of the facsimile, however, is in black and white, with only a few pages in color. As of August, 2003, Oxford University has apparently scanned the entire book, in color, very high resolution, so if you want to check on fine details of any of these pictures, please visit MS. Bodl. 264 at Oxford's Digital Library (most of my pictures have hot-links to the corresponding high-res versions). The scans at Oxford are very large JPEGs: they'll take a long time to download, and in my experience Netscape has trouble displaying them at all (MSIE and Safari both handle them better).
